Informing a patient in clear, concise language, supported by scientific data, is crucial for treatment success. This is because a patient who is adequately and accurately informed can make an informed choice between the different treatment options (surgical or non-surgical) recommended for a vital organ such as the heart. As a result, their hope increases, their anxiety decreases, and they develop realistic expectations regarding the outcome. This website was created by Prof. Dr. Şükrü Akyüz for this purpose.
